How do I add a child profile?

After signing in, go through the onboarding flow and tap "Add Child." You'll be asked for your child's nickname, date of birth, and current measurements. No full names or photos of your child are ever stored.

How does AI food scanning work?

Take a photo of a meal and Kidgrow analyzes it using AI to estimate calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat. For packaged foods, use the barcode scanner for precise nutrition data. For best results, photograph the meal before serving.

What is Delta Scanning?

Delta Scanning lets you take a photo before and after a meal to estimate how much your child actually consumed. Take the first photo before they eat, then scan again when they're done to get a consumption estimate.

How do I log a weight or height measurement?

Open the Growth tab, tap the "+" button, and enter the measurement and date. You can backfill historical entries. The app will automatically plot your child's percentile on CDC and WHO growth charts.

How do I use the Height Ruler?

The AR Height Ruler is available in the Tools section. Hold your phone vertically against a flat surface next to your child. The screen ruler and AR camera modes are both calibrated to real-world measurements.

How do I generate a Doctor Report?

Go to your child's profile and tap "Doctor Report." The app generates a clinical narrative summary with growth data and nutrition trends that you can share directly with your pediatrician.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

On iPhone, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions and select Kidgrow. On the web, visit your Apple Account subscriptions page. We do not process cancellations directly — Apple manages all billing.

Is my child's data private?

Yes. Kidgrow is fully COPPA compliant. We use nicknames instead of full names, never store photos of your child, and do not share data with third parties for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The app crashed or something isn't working. What should I do?

Try closing and reopening the app first. If the issue persists, email us at support@kidgrow.app with a description of what happened and your device model and iOS version. Screenshots are helpful.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
